The experience of Married Men overcame youthfull exuberance in this mornings Married v Single Hurling Game in a muddy and wet Ardclough.

Despite the awfull conditions 30+ players drawn from all ages turnout to blow off some steam and a lot of cobwebs. In a game not for the purists a spirited comeback from a dreadfull start saw the Married Men plus a few youthfull helpers romp home on a scoreline of 4-6 to 1-4. Throw in a whistle shy referee and a crowd of on lookers  who braved the elements it turned out to be a test of endurance rahter than an exhibition of hurling. All shock hands at he end and headed to the club for some much needed refreshments.
