The Ardclough GAA Golf Outing will take place on Thursday September 19th. We're playing on The K Club South course again and we are very grateful for the support of Michael Fetherston and all his team at The K Club again.
We will have a shotgun start at 2pm with a light lunch available from about 1pm. The cost is €350 for a team of four people and the format will be Champagne Scramble.
All funds raised will go directly towards delivering the Club Development Plan which is progressing well.
- The all weather pitch, installed at the end of 2022 has been a tremendous addition for our underage teams, ensuring play and training right throughout the year. It has also been used for training drills by our senior teams
- The floodlights on the main pitch have also ensured our teams play matches at home in all competitions. It has also been used for challenge games by the Dublin Senior Footballers, Third Level Football & Hurling games as well as a Leinster Senior Colleges Hurling final.
- Since last year, we have completed the purchase of new land, opposite the primary school in Ardclough. We have applied for a Sports Capital Grant to help develop that land and we hope to be in a position to start that work early in the new year.
The work goes on but of course it has to be funded and the annual golf day is an important contributor as well as being a great social occasion.
