🧹Club Clean Up last Saturday Huge thanks to everyone who helped last Saturday morning tidying up the clubhouse and grounds. Sometimes when organising events its difficult to gauge how many people can make it.
It was so great to see so many people there and we got so much done. It was a great morning, lots of new faces to our club, chats, coffee and laughs. We have such a fantastic club and facilities its great to see them looking so well🤩. We still have more to do though so if you can help please let us know.
We also need people to help us just day to day - please don't drop litter, sweep out the dressing rooms and lights off and lock up if you're the last group training. Small things help to keep the facilities looking in good condition.
📃Kildare GAA - Gaeltacht Grant Forms – 2025 Will leave this here again this week. Closing date is April 14th for anyone that would like to apply.
Spring clean the wardrobes this weekend and support the school. Bags of acceptable items can be left at the trailer at school. Please see article below for list of items.
Our very popular camps are back and bookings are open – dates are below. Places fill up fast so be sure to book early. There are discounts when booking 2 camps at the same time and the gear looks good too this year !
Last Saturday was a busy one for our fab footballers . Our U7s had a super performance when they hosted Allenwood – well done🤩
U7s v Allenwood
Our U9s hosted Maynooth and our U11s played their Go Games fixture last Thursday on a very wet evening so fair play to the team and coaches - soaked we heard 😅
U9s v Maynooth
On Sunday after some google maps trouble our U8 hurlers made it to Round Towers, and handy for some our U10 hurlers were there too for some fab hurling from all. Our U10 camógs played Celbridge, Cappagh and Johnstownbridge – great performances and skills really coming on with this group 🔥
Sunday finished up with our senior camogie team playing Celbridge in their first division 2 game of the season, hard luck to the team. We go again ! 🖤❤️💛
Our minor hurlers lined out on Tuesday night and were unlucky to lose by a goal to Maynooth in round 3 of the league. Wednesday evening saw our camógs with mixed results with a win for our U13s against Towers and a loss for our U17s.

🗓️ FEILE
Mick O'Dwyer - RIP As a mark of respect for the late Mick O'Dwyer, the county board have asked all clubs to observe a minute’s silence before this weekend’s Senior Football League games.
Mick’s contribution to Kildare GAA and the GAA was immeasurable, and this gesture would be a fitting tribute to his legacy and influence on the GAA community. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
📃Club Notes If you would like an item included in our Club Notes please email secretary.ardclough.kildare@gaa.ie and we will include it.
