Dermot Earley Youth Leadership Programme (DEYLP)
Huge congratulations and thanks to Fiona Buggy and Jacinta Moran who completed their facilitator training for the DEYLP πππ. We are so grateful to both of them for giving up their time to attend the training in March. We are hoping to begin this programme for 15- 18 year olds from September.
Please see the link below which gives more information about the programme. We ideally need 1 or 2 more facilitators which makes the job easier for everyone.
The training is 3 hours online for 3 nights. It is a fantastic initiative and if you can give some time to help we would be very grateful.
Our very popular camps are back and bookings are open β dates are below.
Places fill up fast so be sure to book early. There are discounts when booking 2 camps at the same time and the gear looks good too this year ! Kellogg's GAA CΓΊl Camps
ππOn the pitch
Would you like to be a go games ref ? You can see from below and from previous club notes how busy we are on the pitch. None of this can happen without our refereesππ
We have a fantastic group of young referees in our club who give back to their club and earn some money for themselves each weekend. We are always in need of more!
If you are 16 plus you can attend below course in Hawkfield or there is an online course, see gaa link below.
Once complete, the parent of the child completing the course should email secretary.ardclough.kildare@gaa.ie to be added to our Young Whistlers Group where information about matches and requests for referees are posted.
Such a busy week π Last Friday our U12 Edwards teams played Athy and Castlemitchell with a win for our D2 team and a loss for our D7 team ππ The boys are playing so well and making new friends, great to see, well done
