๐Club Executive Meeting The Club Executive Committee Meeting took place on Monday evening, with unexpected extra time in our U14 hurling semi-final slightly delaying proceedings ๐ Our executive committee meet monthly and have a standing agenda covering a range of areas from correspondence, finances, development plan , facilities and games reports.
Under correspondence this month we reviewed the changes coming to the player injury fund and insurance for clubs. These communications will be issued to all club members in the next week. The Leinster GAA Grant scheme has also opened for applications and we will look at what expenditure we can apply for. And a big piece of work for our Children's Officer Sharon was submitted this month for our Risk Assessment and Child Safeguarding.
Always a large part of the meeting, under finances we reviewed our day to day club accounts, lotto income , membership numbers and income. Fundraising is a particularly key piece of our finances at the moment with an update on our Punchestown Race Night from the committee and an update on our pitch side advertising as we continue to engage with sponsors over the next few weeks . We look forward also to our Annual Golf Dayโณ - Friday October 17th in the K-Club.
Our new field development plans are now underway with a further meeting held this week to discuss next steps.
Our games committees, as we see each week, are very busy with training and matches. We have over 30 teams competing each week from U12 up, plus our Go Games and nursery. Thanks to our secretaries Rosie, Brendan, Brian, Avril, Bill and Brendan O'Donoghue who provide updates to the executive for our meetings each month ,with details of how each team are progressing and activities that are going on around the club such as blitz, trips away etc.
Under Facilites, we have exciting news in the next week or two as we welcome a new business to the club๐ค
We also discussed the management of facilities and remind members and coaches of the note issued Ardclough | Facilites - Notice and to please not litter or damage club property.
