CHAMPIONS

All roads led to Conneff Park in Clane on 7 June as our U12 hurlers took on Maynooth in their Division 4 final.

The lads were 100% focused pre-match and showed no signs of nerves (unlike their coaches!).

They made a strong start to the match, racking up the points and dominating possession and territory.

Going into the half-time break, Ardclough held a 5-point lead.
The second half was more of a shootout with both teams scoring fantastic goals.

Ardclough clinched the league title at the final whistle by a scoreline of 4-7 to 3-3 and finished up the day with a well-deserved pizza party back in the clubhouse.

The coaches are extremely proud of this talented bunch who are always determined to do their best, whether it be training or matches.
