Below the process for completing Garda Vetting is summarised:

All Vetting now takes place on Foireann. If you do not know your username contact Deirdre or Aoife

- Log on to www.foireann.ie and log into your account
- Click Profile
- Select Vetting and qualifications
- Apply for vetting

1. Form 1 Vetting invitation needs to be printed and signed by coach applying and uploaded on Foireann
2. ⁠ID Validation form must be completed by Club Children’s Officer in person who will need to see ID Passport/Drivers Lic - coach must uploaded completed form on Foireann
(Club CO has copies of these blank forms)
3. ⁠Coach uploads proof ID Passport/Drivers license
4. ⁠Coach uploads proof of address eg Utility bill.

Click Submit application

Club Children’s Officer reviews application and approves to send to National Children’s Officer.

‼️FINAL STEP Important
Keep an eye on emails (junk/spam inbox) as vetting applicant will receive a completion request from GAA by email to confirm personal details and previous address - this must be complete within 30days of application to attain Garda Vetting.
