On Friday July 17th, Ardclough GAA hosted our inaugural All-Ireland Preview Night, and what a truly special occasion it turned out to be.
From the moment the doors opened, there was a real sense of excitement around the clubhouse. The evening had everything – outstanding insight from our guest panellists, plenty of laughs, lively debate, great stories, an exciting raffle and, above all, a wonderful atmosphere. It was a night that reminded us why the GAA is so much more than just a game.
A huge thank you to our MC, Damian Lawlor, who guided the evening so effortlessly, and to our fantastic guest panel of Anthony Daly, Joe Canning, Liam Sheedy, Conor McManus, Darragh Ó Sé and Michael Darragh MacAuley.
Their honesty, humour and passion for the games made for an unforgettable evening, and everyone in attendance left with plenty to talk about ahead of the All-Ireland Finals, and what finals they turned out to be !
While fundraising is an important part of every club, nights like these are about so much more than raising money. They are about bringing people together, welcoming new faces, catching up with people you may not have seen in a while, and creating memories that keep our club connected.
They remind us that our clubhouse is more than a building—it's a place where our community comes together to celebrate, support one another and enjoy each other's company. That sense of belonging is every bit as valuable as the much needed funds raised on the night.

Events like this simply don't happen on their own. Behind every successful night is a team of volunteers who quietly give their time, energy and enthusiasm, asking for nothing in return except to see the club thrive.

A special thank you also to our volunteers on the night, including Orla Phillips, Martha Ryan and Jack Ryan, along with the many others who rolled up their sleeves before, during and after the event.
