๐Ÿ๐ŸฅŽ On the pitch

What a great day on Saturday for our club and both our u12 hurling teams who won their hurling finals , bringing home the Championship A & C titles.

It was a hurling fest ! with the A championship against Naas and Maynooth and the C Championship against Naas , Maynooth and Emerald Gaels.

The trophies were accepted on behalf of the teams by captains Jack Wilson - A Championship and Lee Ferris - C Championship - a huge congratulations to the players and coaches - well deserved ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

More great news as our St Edwards U14 C Championship team earned their place in the championship final after a win against Raheens and huge well done to our U14G Championship team who showed huge determination and never gave up against a strong Leixlip team in their last game of the season. We are so proud of the boys and their teamwork ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Hard luck to our Intermediate Camogie team who played Athy on Sunday in their relegation play off . Athy came out winners on the day 7-10 to 1-6.

On Monday, our U16 hurlers played their shield final against Emerald Gaels in Kilcock. It looked like it wasn't to be in the closing few minutes of the game but the lads as always dug deep , down by 2 with minutes to go 3 quickly won points got them the win. Well done to the team on a great finish to the year ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Joint captains on the night were Elwood McGreal and Sean Buggy - well done lads

No rest for our U16s who were out in their U16G St Edwards shield semi final v Sallins , hard luck to the lads as the game finished 6-8 to 15-3

On Wednesday our Minor hurlers played Sarsfields in their B Championship semi final, in a cracking game of hurling, which saw the game go to extra time after it finished Ardclough 2-10 - Sarsfields 1-13 . The lads played their hearts out but couldn't bring it back and it finished 2-14 to 1-20. Not the finish they wanted but we are incredibly proud of the team and coaches and thanks to all the supporters who cheered them on ๐Ÿ–คโค๏ธ๐Ÿ’›

Over in Rathcoffey our U10 camogie team had a great match against our neighbours - super skills on show and rumours of birthday cake which always helps ๐ŸŽ‚

This Saturday is U8 & U10 week for our footballers and our St Edwards U12 H team play their championship final - best of luck !  On Sunday we have our U7 U9 and U11 games.

A big day for our Senior Hurlers - on Sunday they play Confey in their relegation semi-final - a win secures our senior status and a loss sees us face the loser of Coill Dubh v Clane. We need everyone behind the team in Manguard Park๐Ÿ–คโค๏ธ๐Ÿ’›

And then on Monday out U14s meet Naas in the A championship semi final and our D championship team play St Coca's in Manguard Park on Wednesday !  Last game for our St Edwards U14 footballers in the championship final - we are awaiting a date for the final !!
